GUIDE CASE STUDY: To help elevate the cultural significance of plants and preserve their knowledge, Indigenous knowledge holders agreed to advise a project team as they developed a planting guide for the Gichi-gami basin. As discussions began, the team quickly discovered differing expectations about what and how Indigenous knowledge would inform the final guide.
Data |

This dataset contains processed Surface Elevation Table data from five reserves along with metadata, R scripts, reports, and figures, illustrating how SET can be processed, analyzed and visualized.

Data |

This data resource includes eDNA sequences, fish species summary tables, and DNA extractions from Wells, Great Bay, Hudson, Apalachicola, South Slough, and Heʻeia National Estuarine Research Reserves.

Case Study |

These four case studies give examples of four best practices for conflict management in collaborative science. They were developed as part of the Resilience Dialogues project to share lessons learned about effective collaboration from within the National Estuarine Research Reserve System.

About this resource

Mangroves and other habitats in Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve have been changing as a result of chronic stressors and severe hurricanes in recent years.

Data |
About this resource

Degradation of coastal habitats has led to major declines in oyster reefs and coastal wetlands. Coastal restoration efforts are critical to restoring these habitats, but they often include little to no monitoring and evaluation of success.

Data |

This geodatabase contains GIS layers that illustrate the distribution of existing wetlands and identify locations where restoration is likely to have the greatest positive environmental impact in Douglas County, WI.

Case Study |

This report contains case studies of low impact development implementation and performance in Northern Ohio as part of a 2011 Collaborative Research project.
