About this resource

This collection of resources provides instructions for a user-friendly, low-cost tool to estimate wave energy. The “do-it-yourself ” wave gauge was developed by Eric Sparks ’ team as part of a collaborative research project that monitored and evaluated coastal restoration designs at the Weeks Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve.
