About this resource

This short video, which features a handful of leaders from the NERRS, highlights and celebrates the strengths of collaboration and what collaborative science means to the people who live and work in estuaries across the country. The National Estuarine Research Reserve System is a national network of estuarine reserves that supports thriving estuaries and communities across U.S. coastlines. The mission of the NERRS is to practice and promote stewardship of coasts and estuaries through innovative research, education, and training using a place-based system of protected areas.
