About the Project
This multi-reserve catalyst project brought together five reserves to test new sensors that measure carbon dioxide, temperature, and humidity in salt marsh environments. Together the project team and the reserves worked to refine the new technology while collecting over 480 CO2 flux measurements across the New England reserves. This collaborative effort has resulted in increased capacity for NERR staff to collect in situ carbon flux data and strengthened protocols for SWMP biomonitoring.
