Interpretive Materials for Motus Stations

Interpretive Materials for Motus Stations

About the Project

Over half of the NERRs have Motus wildlife tracking stations, which provide new information on the presence and movements of animals. With the number of Motus stations increasing across the NERRS, this project seized an opportunity to develop a collaborative community and expand MOTUS data infrastructure across the NERRS. This catalyst project developed a website to display Motus data across the NERRS, fostered new educational experiences, constructed Motus stations at four sites that previously did not have towers, and promoted communication and collaboration among NERRS staff.
