This user-friendly guide describes how to synthesize salt marsh data from the National Estuarine Research Reserve System. Developed as part of the project Synthesizing monitoring data to improve coastal wetland management across New England, it details steps to catalogue and standardize data, reconcile methods, and perform data analysis. The guide is focused on plant community data collected within the reserve system, but it may also be useful to guide protocol design and analyses for other monitoring parameters and programs.
