Summary report receives 2019 South Carolina Notable State Documents Award

A project team in South Carolina received a Notable State Documents Award for their 2019 report titled Summary of Living Shoreline Research to Inform Regulatory Decision-Making in South Carolina. The report summarizes the results of a multi-year collaborative research project to monitor and assess a variety of living shoreline technologies under different coastal environmental conditions. The results in the report are intended to provide agency partners with science-based information to develop project standards for living shorelines in South Carolina.
