The Native Olympia Oyster Collaborative is a coastwide network from Baja California to British Columbia to conserve and rebuild West coast native oyster populations. It was established as part of a collaborative project to improve communication, coordination and information sharing among scientists and restoration practitioners.

This collection of K-12 lesson plans features science, math, engineering, writing, art, and multidisciplinary classroom and field-based lessons that invite students to explore various aspects of Olympia oysters. The collection shares lessons created by Native Olympia Oyster Collaborative partners. It also includes relevant resources focused on East Coast oyster populations, some of which have been adapted for use with West Coast native oysters.
